Quarterly GCA News (discontinued)

The GCA News was a printed newsletter mailed quarterly to those GCA members who had not subscribed to receive GCA emails, and therefore did not receive the monthly email GCA Newsletter.  It contained articles extracted from the previously published email newsletters.  Its publication was discontinued in August 2012. Purchase of 61 Acre Equestrian Parcel Approved

 

At the Special Meeting of the Association held on 10th July 2014, the resolution to purchase the 60.8 acre Equestrian Parcel as GCA Common Area was approved by our members. The voting participation was remarkable.  Over 90% of members voted, with an almost 3 to 1 majority in favor of the purchase.  See details

 

 

Rivanna Village - Public Hearing

 

At its July 9 meeting the Albermarle County Board of Supervisors gave its approval to the development of Rivanna Village, to the east of Glenmore Way.  VDOT are still resisting a request to use a second entrance from Route 250, and are requiring all construction traffic to use Glenmore Way.  The GCA board is still battling this issue.
