GCA Plans

From time to time the GCA Board and sub-committees prepare plans for certain aspects of the Glenmore Community to assist future Boards in managing the Association. This is particularly relevant during this period of continued development of the community

GCA Strategic Plan 2008 -2012

Issued by the Strategic Planning Committee in February 2008, under the chairmanship of Carl Huebner, this comprehensive 5-year plan was developed to achieve the following purposes:

Ø Identify GCA goals and objectives
Ø Identify the actions necessary for attaing the goals and objectives, and the individuals responsible for taking these actions
Ø Provide a basis for decision-making and actions by the GCA Board of Directors
Ø Provide continuity and consistency from year to year as Board membership changes
Ø Form the basis for the GCA budget by linking planned near term (next year) objectives
Ø Identify funding requirements necessary to attain longer range (beyond next year) objectives
Ø Inform Glenmore property owners and encourage discussions of strategic issues

GCA Transition Plan

Issued by the Transition Committee in January 2008, under the chairmanship of Jack Wilson, this comprehensive document addresses the various modifications necessary to the GCA as it continues to transition responsibilities from the developer. The Plan includes the following sections:

Ø  Approach and Assumptions
Ø  Statutory Considerations and Responsibilities
Ø  Transition Functional Areas and Resource Requirements
Ø  Organizational Alternatives
Ø  Conclusions and Recommendations
