Glenmore Highlands Homeowners Association
Glenmore Highlands is one of three designated "neighborhoods" inside Glenmore. In order to maintain a consistent appearance, lawn service, etc., a Glenmore Highlands Homeowners Association is organized as a legally designated HOA to manage the common interests of all residents. Homeowners in Glenmore Highlands are required to join and pay annual dues and/or assessments in addition to those required by the broader Glenmore Community Association (GCA). Glenmore Highlands Homeowners Association provides only the lawn services; homeowners remain responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of their homes exteriors.
Glenmore Highlands Homeowners Association is a separate legal entity from GCA with its own Boards of Directors, Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and Covenants and Restrictions. This allows it to act independently of the GCA particularly with regard to lot maintenance.

Reference Documents
Governance
The HHOA is governed by these legal documents, which are very similar to those governing the GCA. The most relevant to residents are the Covenants and Restrictions, which lay down the specific responsibilities of the association with regard to management and upkeep of individual lots as well as local common areas. In addition to these documents, the HHOA must comply with the section of Virginia law known as the Property Owners Association Act, and provide a written Complaint Procedure.
