Recreation Facilities

The Glenmore Recreation Facilities, located off Carroll Creek Road near the water treatment plant, are available for use by Glenmore residents and their guests. They include a fenced Dog Park, a soccer/lacrosse field, a basketball court, a batting cage, and some sports equipment. Most equipment is provided by resident users. Parking space is available immediately adjacent to these facilities.

 

If you have questions regarding using the facilities or use of our limited sports equipment:

  • During Business Hours: Contact our Associa Community Group (434-984-0700 or email associa@glenmore-community.org) and our Community Manager, Megan Burch, will ask for your name and number and provide you with the latest lock combination for the storage shed.

  • Outside of Business Hours: Contact the Glenmore Gatehouse (434-977-7019 or email gatehouse@glenmore-community.org). 

The dog park is open during daylight hours, and has its own pet waste disposal station.  Please make sure you pick up after your pet when using the park. 

Sports Facilities Usage Guide

The following rules and regulations guide the reservation and use of the Glenmore Sports facilities:

 

  • Residents and their families/guests have priority use of the Sports Field at all times.

  • The use of the facilities shall be at the risk of the users.

  • Children under the age of 8 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • Please provide your own sports equipment: bats, balls, lacrosse sticks, etc. Lacrosse goals, soccer goals, batting cage are at the Sports Field. There is limited equipment located in the storage facility at the site. Corn Hole Set

  • Users must dispose of all litter in the trash receptacles located at the facility. Trash receptacles are for users of the Sports Field and not to be used for household trash and yard waste.

  • Users of the sports facilities and equipment are responsible for any damages caused by their use. A security deposit may be required.

  • To obtain GCA-provided sporting equipment or have questions regarding advanced reservations of one of the sports facilities please contact:
